Approach: Our team focused on delivering sensitive repairs that respected the building’s heritage status while ensuring modern performance standards. By working closely with consultants, we developed a strategy that balanced conservation with durability. Completing the work via abseil allowed us to minimise disruption to both the structure, surrounding environment and tenants for the duration of the work.

Methodology: The remedial programme involved targeted façade and lightwell works, including:
• Replacing grout between sandstone panels (approx. 300 lm)
• Renewing perimeter sealant around window frames (approx. 2000 lm)
• Repairing cracks in sandstone panels (approx. 100 lm)
• Structural crack injection within the lightwell (approx. 350 lm)
• Concrete Remediation within the lightwell
• Full lightwell repainting
• Re-glazing damaged windowpanes
